Soaking up Fall | Reps Family

there is nothing I love more than clients who are real life friends (of a long time) AND when those friends have me capture their family every single year!

if you’ve been following for a while…our story goes back to before Madelynn was born. it was a cold winter day and since we had fresh snow, decided it would be perfect for maternity photos! Theresa was fighting some back cramps + didn’t think too much of it as she insisted we “take a few more” (she’s a champ)… fast forward 5 minutes and I’m massaging her back while Nick ran to get the car because we most definitely thought she was in labor (early)… sure enough! I helped get them checked into the hospital and went on a date with my husband (which was intended to be a double date, haha!)….I guess a little someone had other plans + entered the world that evening!

not many days later we were in the nursery of their home snuggling little Madelynn and taking newborn pictures. definitely never had a maternity AND newborn session in the same week (haha!) So all you mama’s out there 1. plan your maternity session early (they did!) because you never know! and 2. apparently I have a knack for inducing labor during said sessions ;)

enjoy the gorgeous fall (before Minnesota decided its winter!) sneak peek of their session!

The Kasper's | Pasture Family Session

I might be biased, but I think my little niece and nephew are the two cutest farm kids ever. From Milo “roaring” at his heifers to Lucy waving to them as they walked up behind me…they’re always doing something on the farm. This session was a quick rush in + rush out…they were in between milking cows, helping with silage harvest and covering bales. Like I tell my couples I work with- I don’t necessarily need a lot of time when we really make the most of it :)

For now, enjoy looking at this adorable family from early this fall!
